<p>Shawn Hook is a Canadian singer, songwriter and producer with hits like So Close, Every Red Light, Sound of Your Heart, Reminding Me and I Don't Wanna Dance. Shawn joins The Music Made Me to talk about his musical upbringing in Nelson, British Columbia, his path to being the first artist signed to ABC Studios in Los Angeles, working with Vanessa Hudgens, and his new EP Take Me Home. He also talks about early social media "Bedroom Sessions" with his trombone, which is totally not what it sounds like, being the butt of Jann Arden's jokes and how passing out advertisements at the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) in Vancouver turned out to be a pretty big turning point in his career. </p>
