Abdullah Ibn Masood (ra) - Session 66 The Son of The Mother of The Servant The Jurist of This Ummah The Master of The Secrets 'A people will emerge full of doubts who will be unable to recognise good or reject evil' (Abu Nu'aym Al Hillyah). 'A time will come where people will cease to encourage good and to shun evil, yet will still be considered good men' (Ibn Abee Shaibah). Abdullah Ibn Masood (ra) states 'I would rather swear an oath by Allah SWT and lie than to swear by other than Him (Tabarani). 'It does not matter that I swear an oath by a man's life or the cross - they are equal' (Sa'eed Ibn Mansoor). The Excellence of Tawheed 'The major sin of lying along with Tawheed is still better than a good deed along with Shirk' (Ibn Taymiah (rah).
