Serie A: Excitement as Osimhen reports for pre-season training at Napoli

<p>Victor Osimhen was in a buoyant mood as he resumed pre-season training with Serie A champions, Napoli on Tuesday.</p>, <p>The Napoli squad are currently having their pre-season activities at Dimarco Folgarida, Italy.</p>, <p>Osimhen was granted an extended break by the club following his involvement in Nigeria’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone in June.</p>, <p>The 24-year-old was pictured in training with his teammates.</p>, <p>Napoli also confirmed his arrival with some of his teammates via a statement on their official website.</p>, <p>“Meret Rrahmani, Ostigard, Zielinski, Raspadori, Lobotka, Kvaratskhelia, Elmas, Osimhen also arrived in Dimaro and carried out the physical and medical tests,” reads the statement.</p>, <p>There have been speculations surrounding the 24-year-old’s future following his impressive displays for Napoli last season.</p>, <p>The forward was the top scorer in Serie A last season with 26 goals from 32 appearances.</p>
