Robinhood’s Triumph: More Than A Billionaire Windfall

<p>Last week, the stock brokerage trading app Robinhood issued shares in a public offering that valued the eight-year-old company at some $32 billion, making its young founders billionaires. The fact that more than 22 million people — most of them first time investors — have already funded Robinhood accounts is strong evidence that Robinhood’s mission, to “democratize finance for all,” has been accomplished. </p>
