Report cites 'sensationalized' media coverage for negative reaction to bail reform

April 8, 2021 - Inaccurate, misleading and one-sided media coverage leading up to the implementation of the state's new bail laws in 2020 - and the ensuing weeks and months after they took effect - contributed to a negative reaction to the changes, according to a report from FWD.us.
