<p> Saturday 12th June</p> <p> </p> <p>Rejoice - Joy Reloaded 6</p> <p><br></p> <p>Gratitude as we established yesterday is the key to keep our joy afresh. Let's consider water for example, "stagnant water stinks but moving water stays fresh all the time". </p> <p><br></p> <p>The only way to stay positive and in the right direction is to be grateful. Our acts of gratitude generate positive energy that moves us to the point of divinity where we can see and operate in an uncommon reality and unique direction with God. </p> <p>Gratitude always provokes movement. </p> <p><br></p> <p> Luke 1:41-44 (NKJV) </p> <p><br></p> <p> 41 And it happened, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42 Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! 43 But why is this granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. </p> <p><br></p> <p>Elizabeth said "the moment I heard your voice, the baby in my womb leapt for joy". As we can see, gratitude became contagious between Elizabeth and Mary, the mother of Jesus. Gratitude would always cause right movement.</p> <p><br></p> <p>It is important that we begin to exercise the act of gratitude. When we do not exercise it, our sense of gratitude becomes deaden. We become indifferent and lose that important aspect of our life. It is therefore important to engage in the act of gratitude in order to keep the oil of gladness afresh. </p> <p><br></p> <p>Gratitude has the capacity to lift us up to a higher level where we can see God in midst of our trouble. Mary the mother of Jesus could have reflected how miserable her life was. The threat of divorce from her husband (Joseph) and all that. But because
