Recreational Outrage Ep.34 (Beating The Ostrich) With John Novosad & Tanya Sabrina

<p>This show features local Denver comedians in a space where they can say whatever they want, and we are not a success until we have someone lose their job at SNL. This week on the podcast we have two very unique and hilarious humans, John Novosad &amp; Tanya Sabrina. Opening up with Tanya talking about her crusading schedule, Evan drops his new poem for the beginning and quickly realizes his prepared bits make no sense for one of the guests. We have a few questions for John about doing Late Night, being a Boulder comic over the decades, and his special "Jokes I Can Only Tell Here" (available on YouTube). After telling a story about the origins of the name "Hippie Man", we play an exciting game of "Tanya V.S." and Favorite Conspiracy. Evan asks what John does for "Funsies", Dylan reads a selected story about The Man in Black fighting an Ostrich, and we learn John's fight history with an Emu. We talk a bit about "Hippie Man's Plan for America" (available on YouTube) and then do another reading from the 420 Code. The episode ends with Evan doing his "big, prepared segment", and John finds the silver lining in everything sad about Alaska. Throughout the show, we break down jokes, tell stories from the local scene and discuss all of the important things happening all around the world.
