From 990 forms to lobbying reports to filing as a fundraiser in all 50 states, there are a lot of things to keep up with and that can be a crushing weight on your resources (time, money, staff). My guest this week, Pete Sepp, President, National Taxpayers Union (and newly-elected Vice Chair of the World Taxpayers Association) has a lot of opinions on this topic and he shares his view that it is a failure of public policy at both the federal and state levels.
