Putin signs treaties absorbing Ukrainian regions

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed treaties to begin the process of absorbing parts of Ukraine into Russia. Kyiv has dismissed Moscow’s act, saying the future of Ukraine is being decided on the battlefields of Ukraine.
