At Mayo Clinic, that model has evolved into a complex, multidisciplinary cardiac intensive care unit (CICU) that cares for patients with an array of both acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases and, often, complex comorbidities.</p> <p>Joining us today to discuss CICU complications and their prevention is Jacob C.
