This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.</p> <p> </p> <p>Father God in the name of Jesus, we honor your name and oh how we feel peace and how we feel privileged it is to come to you in prayer. We thank you. Oh, God. That we have communication with you in prayer and in, through your word and through worship and through meditation that we are connected with our God, in Jesus' name.</p> <p> </p> <p>And so God, we set our faces. We set ourselves to seek the Lord. Our prayers are intentional. We set aside time to come to commune with you in prayer that you may speak to our hearts. You may speak to our minds, that we may set our day in prayer in Jesus' name and that you may instruct us at the beginning of the day of what you have planned for us. We give you glory and we give you praise that you're speaking to our hearts and our minds. Not only are we setting ourselves in prayer, God, but we are praying and seeking you in Jesus' name. We are praying and seeking you. In prayer. For the answers to everything that concerns us. For the answer, for the things that concern our families. For the answer to repair our relationships.For the answer to have the things that we need for your direction, for your words says trust in the Lord. With all the heart and lean, not to their own understanding in all that ways, acknowledge him. And you will direct our paths.</p> <p> </p> <p>So, God, we pray for the direction in our lives.
