Power of The Promises Pt 1

<p>A beautiful Wednesday morning to you in the name of Jesus.</p> <p>I’m sure you’re walking in the reality of God’s promises to us. The Bible says that “all the promises of God in Christ Jesus are Yes and Amen.” This a means that in Christ Jesus all the promises have actually been fulfilled. So when the Bible says through His promises, we have escaped the troubles and the stress of this world, and that His promises are what keeps us from the violence and darkness of this world, understand that He is not just talking about promises of the future but rather the promises that were made to us and in Christ they are fulfilled. So what God wants us to do is understand that these promises that have been fulfilled in Christ are things we can appropriate, believe, receive and walk in their reality in our lives. These promises are not out there in the future because they have been accomplished.</p> <p>Remember Isaiah 53:5 says by His stripes, you are healed. Why did he (prophet Isaiah) say that? Because at that time,Christ had not come. But in 1Pet 2:24, when Peter was writing here, Christ had been crucified, He had resurrected and gone back to heaven. Peter said “by His stripes, you were healed” because it was past and it is a promise fulfilled.</p> <p>I trust God that all the promises fulfilled will find manifestation in your life in Jesus Name.</p> <p>1Kings 17:13-16 (NLT)</p> <p>“But Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid!
