Port St Joe/Apalachicola Report: Tarpon Techniques & Catching Pressured Red Snapper

<p>On today's show we talk with Capt. Jordan Todd of Saltwater Obsessions out of Port St Joe, FL. We talk about the health of the red snapper fishery as well as dealing with the tax man when he shows up to get lunch. We get an update on the tarpon migration in the area and Jordan tells us some ways you can target them. There is some local etiquette involved and Jordan does a good job of explaining some of the local rules for chasing tarpon there. Jordan also shares some things you can try if you are limited to red snapper fishing on public numbers or area's that are under a lot of fishing pressure. These tips will become very relevant as snapper season moves along and all of the wrecks begin to react to the increased fishing pressure.</p>
