<p>In this episode, Jonathan chats to LNP insider Josh Phillips about political parties. They discuss the LNP, the role of political parties in a democracy, their role in policy formulation, popular perceptions and misperceptions about political parties, the existence of "factions" in the LNP and the future of conservatism.</p> <p>Josh Phillips has been an LNP member for seven years. He is currently the acting chair of a policy committee for the LNP in Qld, has previously chaired a branch, has written on AI and the morality of big tech and he runs a consulting business that aims to catalyse human flourishing in the developing world.</p>
