We will be looking at twenty-one principles given to us by Lord Jesus to follow. He taught these commandments to His disciples and likewise, we (as His disciples) follow them also to this day. This is by no means an exhaustive list, but something to consider as a resource tool in our study time with the Lord. We are called to examine ourselves by His commandments. Therefore, read over the words of our Lord and take an inventory often. See if you are, in truth, pleasing God, or if you are deceiving yourself. Christ Jesus, in the Gospels, laid down the great foundational principles and laws to govern the children of God during the entire church age – "even unto the end of the world," as we see from His great commission as recorded in Matthew 28:18-20. Our great duty and privilege is to do as He said, "Follow Me." Further explanations and application of the commandments of Jesus, are given by the Lord through the writers of the epistles, but the foundational principles and the final authority rests in the words of Jesus Himself as He taught on: 🎯 REPENTANCE 🎯 BELIEF 🎯 HYPOCRISY 🎯 FOLLOWING HIM 🎯 HIS RETURN 🎯 SUPREME LOVE TO GOD 🎯 FAITH 🎯 PRAYER 🎯 WISDOM 🎯 FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH 🎯 PREACHING THE GOSPEL 🎯 OUR LOVE TO THE BRETHREN ...and many more.
