Our children will be disciples of Jesus!

<p>The scripture we are using to pray this week is from Proverbs 29:17, and it says, “Discipline your son, and he will give you rest; he will give delight to your heart” The concept of discipline is from the Latin word <em>disciplina and discipulus. Disciplina</em> means several things including "instruction, teaching, learning, knowledge and training" &nbsp;D<em>iscipulus</em> means "pupil, student, follower" &nbsp;Another word for follower is disciple. As parents, we are called to disciple our children in the way of Jesus. This week we are praying for tools for our children to flourish in discipline and discipleship.</p>
