Ole Miss baseball star Tim Elko on overcoming injuries, being a light for Jesus

<p>Tim Elko is a member of the Ole Miss baseball team and the SEC’s reigning Scholar-Athlete of the Year. In 2021, he was a preseason All-American and team captain, but suffered a torn ACL in April. Incredibly, he returned a month later and was a pivotal member of the Ole Miss baseball team’s postseason run.</p> <p>In last season’s NCAA Oxford Regional, Elko hit a grand slam in the opening game against Southeast Missouri, then had two home runs and led his team to a victory in the finale against Southern Mississippi a few days later.
