No Kyrie Irving for the season or until eligible, Nets are down one superstar

The Brooklyn Nets dropped a bomb on Tuesday with the announcement that Kyrie Irving wouldn’t be part of the team this season unless he was deemed eligible for full activities after being vaccinated. It was a pretty stunning move by Brooklyn all things considered and calls into question how this season now plays out for the team. Sean Marks released a statement about the move and then did a follow-up podcast explaining the decision. The Nets ultimately did not want to have Kyrie Irving around in a part-time fashion and now it will be interesting to see how their superstar reacts to the decision.
