No Cause For Concern For Clare Family Holidaying On Mainland Greece

A Clare family holidaying on mainland Greece say the country is still perfectly safe, despite extreme weather events on the country's islands. Tourists are still being evacuated from resorts on the archipelago of Evia, Rhodes and Corfu this week amid intense wildfires. The Russell's from Ennis are currently basking in the Mediterranean sun and will be travelling to the Aegean islands in the coming days. David Russell, who is also the Manager of Avenue United in Ennis says while the extreme temperatures present their challenges, its still business as usual in the country's unaffected areas.
