NEWS | No More Mad Cow Blood Donation Ban?

The National Blood Centre says Malaysia is reviewing the blood donation ban on those who lived or worked in the UK in the 1980s and 1990s. It was put in place due to the risk of the incurable Mad Cow Disease, or CJD, which can cause dementia and death. The possible lifting follows similar moves in countries like the US and Australia.
