Newmarket-On-Fergus Native Scoops Major Accolade At Michelin Awards

On Tuesday's Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Declan Maxwell who is a Newmarket-On-Fergus native and is the General Manager of Spitalfields Restaurant in the Coombe in Dublin. Declan discussed his pride and honour at Spitalfields winning the Best Service in the UK & Ireland at the recent Michelin Awards which took place at Silverstone. He spoke about being invited to the awards, which were attended by pubs & restaurants that are judged to be of a particularly high standard across the UK and Ireland. He highlighted his career in hospitality to date which began in the Old Ground Hotel in Ennis aged 15.
