Description
Have you heard the awful news about the fire in the Moria refugee camp? This week's episode is with Zainab Lax, a German harpist and community music therapist, who travels around Europe in her music van to NGOs and refugee camps. In this episode we talk about the incredible power music has to connect people without words, and Zainab tells us what it's like at refugee camps having worked there first hand. Europe is not taking responsibility for these humans who are forced to flee from their homes and live in terrible conditions, and Zainab shares her anger, disappointment and frustration with us. Her story and message are powerful ones, and this conversation needs to be heard and shared. If you want to help, visit https://homeforall.eu/ to find out more about what Home For All are doing for refugees and donate if you can. Check out more of Zainab's projects...
