Description

It's the concluding part of our clash of the ex-lovers this week as we share our thoughts on PJ Harvey's Mercury Prize winning effort from 2000, 'Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea' - or 'PJ's Pop Party' as Kevin dubs it. There's a lot to take in here, from soulful tales of forbidden love to furious rock bangers about wanting to just get it on. Oh, and PJ Harvey tells us all the places she visited on her New York city break. We also completely jump the shark and realise we've become exactly what we set out not to be... Aah well, never mind eh?

In the latest of our 'video killed the radio star' feature we take a look at the latest offering from Public Service Broadcasting, and marvel at the concept of synchronised roller disco.

Also on this week's pod:

- We alienate all our listeners in the South West of England (I'm pretty sure we don't have any anyway);

- Tim potentially slanders one of the biggest corporations in the world;

- Tim still hasn't got over the result of our last clash (seriously though, seven out of ten??); and

- An old friend is up to his tricks again...

Finally, Kev reveals the albums that we will be going through in our next clash. It's going to be a biggie...

This. Is. ALBUM CLASH!

***PLEASE take a moment to leave a rating and write a review of the podcast. It makes it easier for others to find us and it means the absolute world to us!***
