Military bases at Gander become a civilian airport town

Buildings on the four military bases are converted into residential dwellings as well as new business start up including how the increase in airport activity affects the towns population. An incident occurs with a TWA Superconstellation occurs after departing Gander for Europe. The navigator, while taking a star shot with through an astro-dome with a sextant, was lost overboard when the astro-dome broke.
