This week Vanessa Gilmartin-Garrity and Nicky Lambert spoke with guest Stacy Hart to talk about working with bereaved people. SH - I've been a therapist for 25 years working in mental health with children. 10 years ago I set up akidspace supporting children through family breakdown. A winner of a Family Law Award for Best Support Service. I'm a regular on BBC Radio, Sky News, Newspapers, This Morning and a consultant for DK Books. Most recently on ‘Lost in the Clouds’ by Tom Tinn-Disbury. For the last 12 years I have worked for one of the country's leading bereavement charities Grief Encounter. I am now head of training and head of trauma and critical incident. My role mainly involves devising and facilitating training programmes including for Middlesex University. As well as media and press. My specialties include suicide emergency response, crisis management, radio, television interviews, blogging, conferences, keynote speaking and a leading voice on bereavement and divorce.
