Mel Interviews Halal Bae of Canada's Drag Race

<p>Halal Bae is the stage name of Sherif Taalab, a drag performer and one of the contestants of the third season of Canada's Drag Race. The series tracks 12 Canadian drag artists as they compete for the title of “Canada’s Next Drag Superstar.” Halal represents the intersectionality that shapes great cities across this country that are often overlooked and marginalized, creating a space for and adding to a larger conversation about who can do drag and hopefully changing some minds along the way.</p>
