It’s time to close your eyes and release the day. PAUSE… Every day we live is a day we struggle, Every choice we make is one we can regret. Every voice we hear can sound like a critic, Every message to ourselves can break us into bits. PAUSE… But sleep is the perfect door closer. Sleep is the way we clean the slate. Sleep is the way we release yesterday. Sleep is the way we prepare to start again. PAUSE… So, if you’re ready to find forgiveness. If you’re ready to cut yourself some slack. Let your head melt into your pillow, Breathe, and let it all fade to black. LONG PAUSE… See that clean slate, breathe it in. Blow out the negative voices, nothing ugly gets in. PAUSE… Begin with a list of loving words, Ideas you want in your life. Watch your mind jot them down, Snap a picture so you don’t forget. PAUSE… Go through the words one by one, Absorbing what each means to you. Add pictures, colors, stars, and lights, Until each wish glows and shines. PAUSE… Think about how you get there, How you manifest each desire. Think about which needs matter most, And which ones just make life fun. PAUSE… Imagine what your smile looks like, On the day these wishes come true. Visualize yourself in your very best place, And know you can get there soon. LONG PAUSE… Forgive yourself as you inhale, acknowledge you make mistakes. Accept yourself as you exhale, remembering that mistakes allow us to grow. PAUSE… Who is tomorrow’s person? Who do you want her to be? Does she speak her mind, or start the trend, Or
