<p><strong>DVD with Niyi Adekunle</strong></p> <p><strong>Thursday 26th August</strong></p> <p><strong>Maximizing the life of God 4</strong></p> <p>In physics we have different forms of energy, when the energy is stored up unused it’s potential energy but when the energy is in motion and in use, it’s called kinetic energy. God doesn’t want His life stored up in us like some form of potential energy, He wants His life in us to be put to work and stirred up. When the life of God in us is put to work, others can “…see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven.”</p> <p>Nicodemus observed the life of Jesus and it was clearly an extraordinary life, it wasn’t the kind of life that he was used to. He came to see Jesus in the night and asked Him the secret of His exceptional lifestyle, Jesus told him the secret was the life form on the inside of Him. The life of God, Zoe, when truly lived out will catch the attention of others.</p> <p>Acts 11:26 (NKJV)</p> <p>And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.</p> <p>Barnabas was on a visit to follow up the churches of Christ in a region.&nbsp; He got Saul and took him with him to Antioch. They stayed with the believers there for one year teaching them the Word of God. The believers in Antioch were so stirred up that the life of God in them became evident to people in their community and they began calling them Christians, meaning their conduct was like Christ’s.</p> <p>It is good to have the life of God in us, but we must ensure the life of Christ in us is not just stored up in us but it becomes our lifestyle. Until we live out the life of Christ in us daily, we cannot say we are maximizing that life.</p> <p>May God give us the grace to live out the life of God as our daily lifestyle in Jesus name.</p> <p>God bless you.</p> <p>Enjoy the rest of your day.</p>
