Matthew 5:21-37 - Jesus, the Only Way

In this section of Matthew, Jesus piles on the law. With each word of law, listeners are thoroughly buried under the constraints and demands. After the hearing of this, a person is left with no other possible way, but Jesus. Jesus is the only one who could possibly save. It is only through his righteousness that we too are called "righteous."
