March 14, 2020, 3rd Sunday of Lent homily: Fr. Ed Fride

<p>Homily given at the 4:30 p.m. Mass on Saturday, March 14, 2020, the 3rd Sunday of Lent, by Fr. Ed Fride, Pastor, Christ the King Catholic Church.</p> <p>God provided for the Israelites miraculously when He freed them from Egypt, yet in the <a href="http://usccb.org/bible/exodus/17:3" target="_blank" rel="noopener">first reading</a> we see how quickly they lost trust in His provision. We frequently do the same thing, despite the fact that Jesus is always present to us, as He was to the Samaritan woman in <a href="http://usccb.org/bible/john/4:5" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the Gospel</a>. His love transformed the Samaritan woman and her village; His love can transform us if we will let Him.</p> <p>Key words: evangelization, conversion, trust</p>
