Many injured as BRT buses collide in Lagos

<p>Two Bus Rapid Transport, known as BRT, were involved in a head-on collision on Tuesday in the Dopemu area of Lagos.</p>, <p>Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, disclosed this in an online video on its official X handle, confirming several persons were injured.</p>, <p>According to the agency, the incident had led to traffic congestion along the axis.</p>, <p>However, no person has been reported dead.</p>, <p>“Effect of this occurrence on traffic is minimal; however, our officers, as well as all other concerned authorities, including men of the Nigerian Police Force, are on the ground there doing the needful”, LASTMA stated.</p>, <p>When filing this report, LASTMA officials were seen at the accident venue transloading the content of one of the trailers.</p>, <p>Video:</p>, <p></p>
