Making Sense of POP and P50

<p>At tastytrade, we are high probability traders at our core. Regardless of the specific stock or given strategy, we always opt to put ourselves in a position [<a href="http://ontt.tv/2bwICQO" target="_blank">where we are successful</a> more often than not. As a result, we lean heavily on both POP (probability of profit) and P50 (probability of making 50% of max profit). </p><p>And as we see with our NFLX position on the show today, while these <a href="https://ontt.tv/34V2EhC" target="_blank">two metrics both measure probability</a>, they do so in very different ways. </p>
