MAD Kwentuhan 51 with Ate May Ann: “Getting More Involved Locally”

MAD Knb?! There are so many ways on how we can get involved in our local community. It gives us the opportunity to change people’s lives, including our own. This episode of [Your] MAD Talks podcast revisits Ate May Ann’s experience in joining the I am M.A.D. organization and how the passion project, “Bida Para Sa Dumagat” started. Big Jay and Small J had the privilege of joining our guest in reminiscing her volunteer journey.  Ate May Ann is the Assistant Volunteer Lead of Luzon. The Bida Para sa Dumagat’s initial target was to support the community that the group has visited during the camp. Now, they have reached five more Indigenous People (IP) communities in Nueva Ecija. Another youth organization has also adopted one these IP communities.
