M. Taylor Fravel on China's Modern Military Strategy in Historical Perspective

<p>In an interview with NCUSCR President Steve Orlins, M. Taylor Fravel discusses his motivations for and key discoveries from writing, "<em>Active Defense: China's Military Strategy Since 1949</em>." He discusses China's activity in the East and South China Sea, as well as the CCP's definition of geopolitical "core interests."
