Luke 13:31-35 - The Cross Before the Crown

Many times what is easy is set in direct contradiction to what pleases God. Many times it is easy to do what is easy. Following God means picking up your cross and following him. That means a life of self-denial. Whre we fail at that, Jesus didn't. He picked up his cross and went to Jerusalem. Jesus' cross saved us. Jesus' cross strengthen us to carry ours.
