Love is Living 6

<p>Saturday 27th February&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>A beautiful Saturday to you in the name of Jesus. God is good and He’s good all the time, we thank Him for His grace and for His love and all this week we’ve been talking about “Love is Living.” To experience that power of love in your life, to see the power of love change the life of people and change your life you must let the love of God flow through you and flow to others. That’s exactly what it means when we say love is living. Today we want discuss living our love by serving others.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>Jesus, said “I’m in your midst as one who serves” and we know that Jesus is the full expression of God and Jesus said He serves, since God is Love, we can say Love serves. &nbsp;Yes, we serve God, but whatever we do in term of serving God is because He served us first and He’s still serving us. If you want to grow in love, you want to experience the love of God and you want people to experience the love of God we must learn to love others by serving them.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Luke 22:25-27 (NLT)</p> <p>“Jesus told them, in this world, the kings and great men lord it over their people yet they call them friends of the people but among you it will be different, those who are the greatest among you should take the lowest rank and the leader should be like a servant ; who is more important, the one who sits at the table or the one who serves? The one who sits at the table of course, but not here, I am among you as one who serves”</p> <p><br></p> <p>Jesus was saying to them, “Even though I’m your leader, even though I’m the greatest, even though I’m your Lord, I am love personified yet I express that to you by serving you”.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>It’s important we learn to serve others. When I was much younger, I had that mindset that once you have become big, once you are the leader, once you are the head of the home, the head of the organization, you’re in charge, you’re the class captain or you are in a position of leadership, others should serve you.
