Life of Faith - Genesis 12 -Prog 04

In the Life of Faith, Abraham's faith is explored in Genesis 12:1-9. First, Abraham is called to be separate. Gen. 12:1. Abraham was blessed by the Lord inorder that he may be a blessing to others. Dr. Mitchell states that "faith in God brings confidence and obedience." This faith is found in the promises of God made to this man. When we walk in the truth that God has revealed, He will give that believer more light for the next step in faith. Our attention is drawn to the fact that Abraham being in fellowship with God, he built an altar to the Lord, a place of worship and fellowship with God.
