With almost 30 video games, 7 live-action films, 3 animated films, a series of novels, and a Netflix original series on its way, the franchise seems to be alive and well. While Resident Evil's video game and animated entries have always remained it's greatest strength, it's live-action adaptations have always struggled to adequately please die-hard fans of the series.
