Late Lunch Tuesday September 5th 2023

Gerry went back to school today! Yes Late Lunch paid a visit to the brand new Ballapousta National School as a new era begins for teachers and pupils alike. Principal Peter Dooley and his Vice Principal Angela O'Hare reflected on a new beginning while Parish Priest Canon Peter Murphy is rightly proud of the state of the art facility which, as he told us, has come a long way. We heard from a number of the talented students and caught up with a famous past pupil, Professor Paul Moynagh, who is also Chairperson of the Board of Management at the school. Gerry Carragher, of the Parish, gave us a rundown on the history of place and school, we enjoyed beautiful ice cream cones and there was one for everyone in the audience!<br /><hr><p style='color:grey; font-size:0.75em;'> Hosted on Acast.
