<p>Norm opens the second hour talking about donuts and the importance of spending locally. </p> <p>Greg Dillon sticks around to discuss more about the FBI executing a warrant on President Donald Trump's home in Mar-a-Lago. </p> <p>Norm recognizes that Donald Trump is one of the great spinmasters of all time. However, there is a legitimate question as to what the face of the warrant read and what the alleged scope to which the search was supposed to extend. </p> <p>This question matters. The fruits of an involuntary discovery—that is, evidence that is discovered during a search that falls outside of the search's alleged scope—should theoretically be subject to a later issued warrant. In other words, the search of the safe as reported appears heavy-handed without the public's ability to determine whether the scope of the search was obviously pretextual. </p> <p>Greg reports that many of his long-time retired FBI colleagues are skeptical of the nature of the Mar-a-Lago search warrant. </p> <p>Norm digresses momentarily to discuss a letter he received from the IRS at the beginning of his bookstore ownership. The bottom line is this: every individual has a right not to incriminate themselves in an encounter with a government agent.
