Katsina United management team sacked

<p>Katsina State Government has dissolved the management of the Katsina United FC of Katsina with immediate effect.</p>, <p>This was contained in a statement by the State’s Commissioner for Sports, Malam Yusuf Rabiu-Jirdede on Wednesday.</p>, <p>He said that the dissolution was part of the government’s efforts to reinvigorate the club for better performance at the league.</p>, <p>The commissioner said that the government had approved an interim management committee to oversee the affairs of the club pending the reconstitution of the management team.</p>, <p>“Those appointed to head the affairs of the club as members of the interim management committee are as follows: Alhaji Kabir Danlami-Rimi, Gaddafi Muhammad-Rudwan, Aminu Abdullahi-Leno and Abubakar Sani.</p>, <p>“The outgoing management is to hand over the affairs of the club, including all assets to the interim management committee with immediate effect.</p>, <p>“The state government appreciates the effort of the outgoing management’s profound contribution and wishes them all the best in their future endeavors,” he said.
