Journey to Access to Information in Zambia

<p>Worldwide, over 50 countries have enacted access to information laws, meanwhile in Africa, 26 countries have enacted laws that allow for the access to information. Sustainable development goal number 16, &nbsp;provides for the promotion of peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, and specifically under target 10 it ensures public access to information. In Zambia, the ATI bill has been in development for about 20 years.</p>
