I remember thrifting in high school, growing up in the midwest – and for me, it was always about searching for pieces that no one else had – and thrift shops were where I could find those unique pieces. </p> <p class="">But the changes since then – almost 20 years later – are immense. </p> <p class="">I was looking at <a href= "https://cf-assets-tup.thredup.com/resale_report/2023/thredUP_2023_Resale_Report_FINAL.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">thredUP’s 2023 Report</a>, and in it, they say that – The global secondhand market is expected to nearly double by 2027, reaching $350 Billion.
