João Félix – on loan from Atleti – proved to be the match-winner, and how he enjoyed that. Iñaki Peña was also vital with a couple of superb saves to deny Diego Simeone's men.</p><br><p>Athletic Club routed Rayo with both Williams brothers on the scoresheet, celebrating Nico's contract renewal.</p><br><p>Real Madrid and Girona keep winning at the top. Ruairidh Barlow (@RuriBarlow) drops in to give us his reaction from the capital.
