He was staking His claim as the very God of Creation, the Lord who blessed Abraham, and the Holy One who inhabits eternity. So YES, Jesus is the ONLY way to Heaven! Such an exclusive statement may confuse, surprise, or even offend, but it is true nonetheless!! The Bible teaches that there is no other way to salvation than through Jesus Christ. He is not "a way," as in one of many; He is THE WAY, as in the ONE and ONLY!! No one, regardless of reputation, achievement, special knowledge, or personal holiness, can come to God the Father, except through Jesus. PERIOD! Eternal life in Heaven is made possible ONLY THROUGH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST! LET US NOT BE MISTAKEN of two things: #1 - No one shed blood for you, but Christ Jesus! # 2 - "And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among people by which we must be saved [for God has provided the world no alternative for salvation]” Acts 4:12, (AMP).
