Guest Bio:  I am Mario Torrez I am 30 years old. I’m a native from Phoenix, AZ. I have 4 children. 8-year-old daughter, 3-year-old son, 2 identical twin girls 17 months old. My current full-time career is a Firefighter/Paramedic with the City of Phoenix. I have had a Life Insurance Policy with Ohio National Life Insurance and applying IBC since September 2020 and been a BetterWealth member since September 2020 as well. I grew up in a broken home and lived with my sister and mom in Washington State. I grew up without my father most of my young life. He came back into my life and I moved back to AZ with him back in 2001 and have stayed out in AZ ever since. I’ve struggled with substance abuse since the age of 13. 2019 came and my family left me and I almost lost my career as a Fireman. At the age of 28 I got sober through Alcoholics Anonymous and various treatment programs. I lived in Sober Living for approximately 1 year. 2020 came around and I started to feel discontent with my role as a firefighter and realized I hadn’t made amends with myself.
