inventRightTV Hits 50,000 Subscribers

10 years ago, I shot my first video for YouTube. Yesterday, we received our 50,000th subscriber. The only reason I even began making videos in the first place is because I tried out for a TV show. Entrepreneur Marcus Whitney and I spent two days shooting a pilot in Portland and Palo Alto, but it was never picked up. I’d done a poor job, I feared. I just wasn’t comfortable in front of the camera. (The same could not be said of Marcus, who leaped at the chance to try new exciting things, which I thought was very brave. I'm not surprised he was just named Nashpreneur of the year!) So, I told my office manager James Shehan — who is still my video editor to this day — to turn on the camera so I could practice getting comfortable. Today I’m very proud to share that the inventRightTV channel has published 700+ videos and grown a community of 50,000 creative people. What started out as just a practice run has turned into the leading resource on YouTube to help you commercialize your inventions. It's been a great 10 years!
