And what I mean by that is that there is loss, shame, embarrassment, humiliation, fear. In short, we know suffering. There are no exceptions. Everyone has experienced these things. What might be no big deal for you could be devastating for someone else. To live is to know pain and suffering.</p> <p class="p1">But what I find most fulfilling is to know that God gives beauty in exchange for our broken things. He wants to engage us in the midst of our pain. To lead us into healing and provide restoration that extracts the pain from the event or events so that it no longer controls us. Where we feel at peace with our painful places. That's what healing feels like.</p> <p class="p1">As Jessica tells us who God was for her in the midst of her heartache and questions she reveals this beautiful exchange between her and God.
