There was the lighting of fires to protect the cattle, crops and homes and to encourage new growth and fertility. It was a grand day of May flowers decorating the Maypoles & doorways, feasting & dancing & offerings to the faeries! Beltane is still celebrated world-wide by many. It marks the halfway point between Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice. Join us as we sit around the proverbial bonfire with a meditation and energy forecast!
