<p>It didn’t start pretty but Illinois persevered some early shooting woes to take care of Kansas City 86-48 on Friday night in Champaign. What went well and what didn’t? Illinois (2-0) continued the hot streak in the 2nd half and outscored the Roos by 22 to win it.</p> <p>Dain Dainja was a monster putting up 20 points and 15 rebounds, to go along with 5 blocks. He’s only the 2nd Illini since 2010 to put up 20-15 in a game, the other being Kofi Cockburn.
